The life expectancy of a standing seam metal roof is comparable to that of crystalline PV modules. Allowing for versatility Two kits are available from S-5! to fit different PV frame thicknesses. Frame thicknesses ranging from 1.2" (30mm) to 1.9" (30mm) can be accommodated by the S-5-PV Kit-30 (48mm). The S-5-PV Kit-41 supports frame thicknesses ranging from 1.6" (41mm) to 2.4" (60mm) (60mm). Aluminum mounting discs are available for aluminum clamps, and stainless steel mounting discs are available for brass clamps on copper roofing.
