Refund policy
WARE Solar offers returns for items within 30 days of receipt of shipment. We accept returns for new (unused) products. Custom orders, such as cut to length cables and wire are not returnable. Exchanges are accepted for both defective and non-defective products.
Customers are responsible for returning items by mail using their own return label. A 15% restocking fee applies to returns due to incorrect orders, excess quantity, or change of mind. However, this fee may be waived if an exchange is made. Refunds are processed within approximately five business days.
Before returning an item, please email us to request a return authorization number. Be sure to include your order number in the email.
We work hard to ensure that each and every order is checked for accuracy, and is properly packaged and shipped. However, even with these protocols in place, issues with shipments can arise. As our customer, there are several things you can do to minimize the risk of errors and assist us when an error might occur:
Inspect and Verify your Order
Prior to accepting a delivery, customers are asked to examine the shipment to ensure it contains the accurate items, the correct quantity, and is in satisfactory condition. If any discrepancies are identified, the following steps should be taken:
- Record the discrepancies on the Delivery Receipt.
- Notify the driver immediately.
*Failure to report discrepancies during the delivery may lead to the rejection of a subsequent claim. Additionally, refusing to accept the delivery may result in additional freight charges.*
Types of Order Issues
Shipping Damage Instructions:
To report any damages caused during shipping, it is essential to inform WARE Solar within 48 hours of delivery by sending an email to info@ware.solar. If the Delivery Receipt from the carrier documented visible damage, ensure you gather the following before submitting your claim:
- Photographs depicting the damaged packaging and product.
- A copy of the Delivery Receipt indicating the observed damage.
- A copy of both the Packing Slip and Invoice.
After filing the claim, retain the damaged items, as the carrier might contact you to arrange an inspection.
For Concealed Damages:
- Damaged items identified after delivery are considered Concealed Damage and should be reported to WARE Solar within five days of receiving the delivery. To initiate the process, send an email to info@ware.solar.
- To facilitate a successful inspection, it's crucial to preserve all original packaging and the damaged product until the claim is resolved.
For Overages or Shortages:
Any overage or missing items need to be filed within 30 days of delivery with WARE Solar by emailing us at info@ware.solar.
If any discrepancies are identified, the following steps should be taken:
- Record the discrepancies on the Delivery Receipt.
- Notify the driver immediately.
Failure to report discrepancies during the delivery may lead to the rejection of a subsequent claim.
Please be aware that items not yet shipped will not be listed on the Packing List. These items will be dispatched to the address specified in the order as soon as they become available.
Exchange Orders:
- When submitting an exchange, please indicate the need for a replacement order.
